Enabling completely automated operation of driverless transport systems

Concept

As with many tasks in industry, systems and solutions are improved and expanded on an evolutionary basis. This means that, if possible, previous versions should be taken into account and upgraded by new developments without having to dispose of too much of the existing equipment.
This was also the conceptual requirement on the part of Hoppecke. Already partially networked systems, which were previously only able to communicate locally with limited functionality, have now been expanded to include global networking. Now many new functions result from “cloud applications”.
ARIGO was able to create completely new applications with the help of the highly flexible Rumo 4.0 framework and thus lay the foundation for new business cases.

Technology

  • Bluetooth
  • OPC-UA

Advantages

Immediate customer benefits:

Cost savings for the end customer through
